Terms and Conditions

Warranty

All NCS boards are inspected prior to dispatch and should be inspected by the customer on delivery. All our products are warranted against manufacturing defects for a period of 3 months from date of dispatch. However, it must be stressed that our boards are not guaranteed against breakage or damage however caused, as such occurrences are beyond our control. Surfboards are exposed to huge stresses during their use and this is the case even in small surf conditions. Even a small dumping wave can generate enough force to snap a board in half. Our boards are equipped with twin wooden stringers which gives them excellent strength and flex characterisitcs but does not mean that they are entirely 'bullet proof'.

The surf hire environment and to a lesser degree the surf school environment, expose surfboards to extreme wear and tear and every effort must be made to ensure the boards are taken care of properly in order to extend their life. We make every effort to produce extremely durable yet functional surfboards but we stress that each board must be cared for like it is your own personal equipment. We cannot and will not be held responsible for boards damamged due to misuse, abuse or general wear and tear. Boards should not be left out in the hot sun or left in hot cars or vans as this can result in delamination.

Because of the nature of the sport of surfing, no guarantees against damage or breakage are offered or implied. However, if you have any further comments or any reason to be dissatisfied with the quality of your surfboard after purchase then please do not hesitate to contact us.
